Flying Away!


I am leaving tomorrow for my 2 week vacation! I will be flying home to Ottawa, Ontario for 5 days before I head to Orlando, Florida with two friends. So far on the itinerary is seeing my sisters wedding dress (she's getting married in September), seeing family, going to Universal Studios/Harry Potter Land, swimming with manatees and going to see Winter the dolphin from Dolphin Tale!  

I will blog about my vacation when I am back! Can't wait to share it with you all

High Five for Friday


Happy Friday!

1. I am going to dinner and Cirque Du Soleil Amaluna tomorrow with a good friend

2. My last day of work is today, I will be pursuing a career in marketing full time! Many changes to come! 

3. I started packing for my trip to Ottawa to see my family and my vacation to Florida

4. I changed my hair style and colour to deep red brown! I love it 

5. Decided to start eating healthier when I get back from my vacation

A Book Review

A few of my friends had told me to read 'Before I Go to Sleep' by S.J Watson. It took me a few months to go to Chapters and pick up a copy. I ended up reading this book in 2 days! The verdict is that it is AMAZING!  It was well written and kept me wanting to read the next chapter. I won't spoil the ending but I didn't catch on until the very end! Anyways, it was a great read and I am going to read either Divergent or The Night Circus next....I will keep you posted!

13 in 2013

So I want to make 2013 a year to remember! I have decided to make a list of the top 13 things I want to accomplish this year.


1. Go on a girls trip somewhere hot!

2. Run a 5K

3. Go to Vancouver for a vacation with Ryan

4. Find my dream Marketing job

5. Read at least 12 books this year

6. Take a trip home

7. Start going to Zumba or Yoga at least once a week

8. Eat healthier and cut out fast food/snacks/pop

9. Start saving more money so we can buy a few big purchases

10. Go to the Calgary Stampede

11. Walk Max my Labradoodle at least twice a week

12. Try a new restaurant, not a chain

13. Go to a country concert
